As of November 1st, I will add two experienced house/pet sitters as associates: Catherine and Inanna. At some point in the near future, this website will be updated with all of their information.
Clients Have Noted:
Ned was the perfect house-and-cat-sitter during our 3-month-long overseas tour. The house was cleaner and neater than we left it: nothing out-of-place.

I needed a house sitter for my 4 little rescue dogs and came upon Ned's web site. Ned promptly returned my call and set up an interview to meet me and my "babies." I've now used Ned's services 4 times. I endorse Ned as a house sitter/pet sitter without reservation. I know I can leave with confidence and return to happy dogs and a clean home.

We've had Ned house sit for us twice this year. The second time, our poodle, Buster, escaped our car as we were leaving. He was found 2 days later and Ned brought him home and looked after him until we returned. Thanks, Ned, for taking care of Buster and giving us a happy homecoming.

If any questions or additional needs came up during our absence, such as when craftsmen needed to install a skylight, Ned took care of them and kept everything coordinated via email and telephone.
Ned made it possible to enjoy our summer and we were delighted to return home and find everything just as we had left it.

Hello, my name is Ned Buratovich and I'd be happy to speak with you about house sitting in your home.
There are many reasons you may want a reliable person to look after your home while you are away for an extended absence.
For most homeowners the foremost reason is the security of having their home looked lived in to discourage break-in or burglary. Since I operate as a "live in" housesitter (i.e. not someone who only drops in once a day to pick up your mail and maybe feed a pet) your home will not only look "lived in" but will be lived in day and night.
I have my own business as a web designer and can do my work (on my laptop) from any home with a high speed internet connection. That means most days your home will be occupied all day long (and most evenings, since my business keeps me busy.)
I prefer house sitting assignments of a month or longer. I give preference to sit homes in Sonoma County from Santa Rosa South through Novato: anywhere near Petaluma-Sebastopol, where my mom lives. She's 90 and I spend about a day each week looking after her needs. Another area of preference is the Menlo Park / Palo Alto (because that's where many of my web design clients are located and I do business there frequently.)
However, I am happy to sit homes anywhere throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, particularly when I might have an open month to fill in. I offer discounts from my affordable house sitting fees for assignments of extended length and/or in preferred areas.
Please browse around my site to get further questions answered, then call me on my cell at 408-892-4754 to discuss my house sitting services..
